Little Concepcion – Ometepe’s Scenic Viewpoint
Discover the stunning lookout of Little Concepción and experience the natural richness of Nicaragua. Follow our marked trail through lush vegetation, where you can spot howler monkeys, iguanas, butterflies, snakes, hummingbirds, and many more native species. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking panoramas of the island’s twin volcanoes — Concepción and Maderas — as well as the isthmus and Lake Nicaragua.
The trail is open daily and recommended for visitors who are reasonably fit and sure-footed. Please note: there are a few rocky and steep sections, so sturdy shoes are advised. Tickets and further information are available at the entrance, located at our office: Volcancito – Culture & Adventure in Sintiope.
